Mr. Nicholas has been appraising property since 1975. He is a court approved and court appointed expert witness for superior court in Alameda, Monterey, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Somona Counties, specializing in Federal and Estate Bankruptcy Court, as well as Tax Mediation cases.

James J. Nicholas & Associates provide appraisal services for probates, divorces, estates and income tax issues. We also have experience in diminution of value cases due to landslides, foundation problems, earthquakes, and other acts of nature. If necessary, we are able to prepare retroactive analysis of property.
